The centerpiece of Edinboro's recreational opportunities is the 245 acre Edinboro Lake.  Included is a guarded beach, two free boat launch ramps with public parking, and a fishing pier denoted for persons with disabilities.

The lake is unlimited horsepower rated, allowing for water skiing and the use of personal watercraft.  Fishing is also a popular pastime, with the local species including large and smallmouth bass, muskie, pan fish, and walleye.  A section of trout stream water below the Edinboro dam is designated fishing for younger fishers as well as handicapped individuals.

Boat docks and kayak racks are available for seasonal rental through the Borough of Edinboro office (www.edinboro.net). Daily boat and kayak rentals are available through the Edinboro Lake Resort (www.edinborolakeresort.com).
