As one of the best schools in Erie County, GMHS houses grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 within the General McLane School District. There are approximately 800 students in the school with approximately 60 professional and support staff serving the school community. Our Academic Program is rigorous and our professional teaching staff prides themselves on making education relevant to the workplace and life in general. GMHS is proud to offer strong curricular and extra-curricular programs that boast the LMBA Champion Marching Band, the award-winning publications The Lancer Ledger and The Imperator, and the spectacular showcase of GM’s best talent in the annual Broadway Dinner. Additionally, our Athletic Program offers students an opportunity to compete for teams that are prepared, well-coached and perennial winners.
